 The future of Wilton Park (the Defence School Of Languages) in Old Beaconsfield is currently under discussion. The Ministry of Defence's preferred partner, Inland Homes, is currently putting together a strategy document. We are very keen to ensure that the development includes an Arts Centre that can be used by all the local performing arts groups as well as offering a meeting point for the residents of the new development and for the residents of Beaconsfield as a whole. There is a petition specifically supporting the creation of a theatre based Arts Centre, which can be found at: aTheatre4Beaconsfield.org. Please sign it if you would like to see a Theatre based Arts Centre in Beaconsfield. Further consultations on Wilton Park will be held later in the year. |
